Our 3rd event at the Foundre Hotel is coming up on Saturday, September 12th! Cocktails and Comics is a FREE event showcasing comic creators, comics, zines, illustration art and more! Doors open at 5pm and the event will run until 10pm in the event space adjacent to the lobby. Also on September 12th, before Cocktails and Comics, there will be an Indie Creator Convention Workshop run by Ryan Cody and J.Gonzo! Ryan and Gonzo will walk new creators through best practices on how to set up, display, and sell your work at shows. They’ll go through the the dos and don’ts of setting up at a convention and dealing with fans, other creators, and show runners. They’ll also answer questions newer creators may have about showcasing their work at conventions. This workshop is free and does not include a table for Cocktails and Comics. Please register your interest here so we know how many people to expect. Space is limited. The Arizona Comic Book Arts Festival
